Join the Mission at
First Key Funding
At First Key Funding, we’re not just building homes—we’re building hope, stability, and opportunity. As a young nonprofit, we’re currently seeking passionate volunteers and prospective board members who want to make a tangible impact on the future of housing in America. We may not be able to offer salaries right now, but we offer something just as valuable: the chance to help transform lives and communities from the ground up.
Community Outreach Volunteer
Help us connect with first-time homebuyers, donors, and local organizations. You’ll assist in spreading awareness about our mission, organizing local events, and building the relationships that make our work possible.
Grant & Proposal Assistant

Program Support & Admin Help
Assist with light admin tasks, database organization, or helping vet borrower prequalification forms. Great for detail-oriented individuals or those looking to gain nonprofit operations experience.
Our Environment & Values
Collaborative & Supportive Teamwork
We may be a small crew, but we’re big on supporting one another. You’ll join a team that values input, lifts each other up, and shares the load with heart and hustle.
Purpose-Driven Activities
Whether it’s meeting with potential homeowners or organizing donor outreach, everything we do is focused on creating a path to homeownership for those who’ve been locked out of the market.
Flexible & Impactful Roles
You choose how much time you can give—whether it’s a few hours a week or a more involved commitment. Every task, big or small, plays a role in helping someone get a key to their future home.
Working Toward a Bigger Mission
Our ultimate goal is to level the playing field for first-time homebuyers by stepping in as their financial and structural ally. Your contribution brings us one step closer to putting real keys in real hands.
